HAREKET BROKE TURKEY'S HEAVY TRANSPORTATION RECORD

The floating dock weighing 11,350 tons, manufactured in Turkiye, was launched in Tuzla after 30 days of engineering work and a 2-day transportation operation. With this operation, Hareket broke Turkiye's heavy cargo transportation record.

The 48-meter-wide floating dock, which is the largest cargo ever transported in Turkey, was loaded onto another 50-meter-wide floating dock, which is only 2 meters wider than itself. During the operation, the load moved at a speed of one meter per hour.

384 axle lines of Scheuerle SPMTs, Goldhofer PSTs and hydraulic modular trailers were used synchronously to transport the 11,350-ton, 220-meter-long and 48-meter-wide floating dock.
